Honors Social Science

Honors Social Science is an elective course designed to prepare freshman in the field of social science as they continue their education at La Canada High School. It is the intent of this course to expose students to the skills necessary to increase their success if they choose to pursue a path through the AP curriculum in the future. Students will develop strong critical thinking, effective writing, interpretation of primary sources, and effective public speaking skills through this course. A willingness to devote considerable time to homework and study are necessary to succeed.
