House. Take pictures of at least 5 displays, shows, or other learning
events that you attend with you in the picture. Take notes and write up a description of what you learned at each
display and place the image of the display next to the description. Turn
this in no later than Friday, October 16, 2015! Turn it in
ELECTRONICALLY via Google

only want electronic documents for this assignment. Alternate
Assignment ONLY in case you cannot go to JPL this weekend: You MUST
have your parent EMAIL me verifying that you could not go to JPL this
weekend due to scheduling conflicts or being out of town. Tell me about
5 JPL missions, either
past, present, or future that you would like to research. You must write
at least a half page of content for each mission, 1.5 spaced, 1”
margins, Times New Roman Font, summarizing each mission. The alternate
assignment must have an MLA Works Cited page as the last page of
the document to be considered for extra credit. You only need a works

- Warmup:
Felix Baumgartner set a record for the Red Bull freefall jump from a balloon. He jumped from
an altitude of 128,100 feet above the New Mexico desert. Use the
knowledge that there are 3.28 feet to every meter and the formula d = ˝
gt2 to
tell me the time in seconds it took him to fall. Once
you tell me this, use the formula v = vo +at
to tell me how fast in m/s he would be going when
he reached the surface of the Earth. Assume that acceleration is a
constant of 9.8 m/s2 throughout
his fall and that he was falling through a vacuum with no air
resistance.
- Go

Problems Set #s 60-69.
Check Answers.
